Artist-First Tour Design

A human-centered touring model that allows artists to perform without losing themselves in the process.
Touring should support the artist—not deplete them.

Touring Was Never Designed for the Artist

Traditional touring models are built around revenue, routing, and performance output—not the sustained well-being of the artist.

Over time, this leads to:
• physical exhaustion
• emotional depletion
• spiritual disconnection
• disrupted routines and relationships
• a growing resistance to touring itself

Many artists love performing—but struggle with everything surrounding it.

A Different Approach

I believe an artist should never have to sacrifice themselves in order to perform at a high level.

The artist is not separate from the performance. They are the source of it.

When the artist is supported, regulated, and centered:
• the performance deepens
• the fan experience improves
• touring becomes sustainable again

This work redesigns touring from the inside out—around the artist.

The Artist-First Touring Framework™

Rhythm – Tour pacing that respects the human body and nervous system
Restoration – Built-in recovery, sleep, and decompression after performances
Residence – Environments that feel like home—not just places to stay
Relationships – Curated access to people who support—not drain—the artist
Reach – Fan experiences that expand connection without exhausting the artist

What I Do

I work with artists and their teams to redesign touring in a way that protects the artist while still honoring the work and the audience.

This may include:
• analyzing current tour structures
• redesigning tour pacing and scheduling
• creating restoration and recovery protocols
• advising on environment and lodging
• identifying necessary support roles (chef, therapist, etc.)
• rethinking fan engagement (intimate + hybrid experiences)
• supporting implementation before or during the tour

Who This Is For

This work is best suited for:
• established artists
• artists with extensive touring experience
• artists who feel depleted by traditional touring
• artists who value their privacy, spirituality, and personal life
• artists who want a more sustainable way to perform
